Summary of content includes:
Metalcraft – Roof Drainage
Presenter: Frances Charles
This presentation will provide an understanding on how the NZMRM calculation tools were developed. E1 requires a 2% probability that flooding will occur within a building. This differs from the rainfall intensities of E2/AS1 which are based on 10% probability. The NZMRM code of practice has been updated and a new easy roof drainage calculation tool has been developed making it easier to determine the maximum catchment area for specific gutter designs. Internal, external and downpipes are covered in this tool and it is based on 2% probability. Frances Charles will discuss these requirements and how the roof drainage tool works.
Rinnai – The Future of Hot Water
Presenter: Dr Grant Bourke
Dr Grant Bourke will present a highly informative & educational session on the future of gas in New Zealand, and the significance of the transition from fossil fuels to hydrogen for our environmental future.
Cosentino – Ultracompact Surfaces
Presenter: Diane Michele Casterton
The built environment produces a third of the world’s waste. Today, it is possible to create innovative surfaces that have a positive impact on the world around us. More sustainable and carbon neutral, with higher percentage of recycled materials and longer life cycle.
Diane will present on Green Manufacturing, the need for products wilt less crystalline silica and the benefits of sustainable surfaces.
